Aretha Franklin to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 25th anniversary bash
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a big deal. So now that it’s celebrating its 25th anniversary with a group of performers you’ve never seen together, it’s going to be more than a big deal. It’s going to be mind-blowing amazing.
And what would the celebration be without Aretha Franklin?
The anniversary shows, held at the Madison Square Garden on Oct. 29 and 30, will feature Franklin, along with Lenny Kravitz and Annie Lennox, on the second night. Other big-name performers include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Stevie Wonder and Simon & Garfunkel on the first night, with U2, Eric Clapton and Metallica the second.
